SCHOOL CULTURE

Kensington International School is distinguished as one of Springfields magnet schools, where we feel great excitement over becoming one of the few public elementary schools in the country to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme. We attribute this success to our dedicated staff, who shares a joint vision of creating a school that draws on each students strengths.

At Kensington International School we take great pride in our active family partnerships which help to foster a spirit of cooperation between home and school that allows us to nurture each child. By working side-by-side with parents we are able to help childrens hopes and dreams begin, grow and come alive!

Our Mission Kensington International School builds a foundation for the understanding of the global community through the International Baccalaureate Units of Inquiry and the Responsive Classroom approach. Kensington International Schools mission is to foster appreciation for cultural diversity and social acceptance. Our environment develops self-esteem, respect, and the power of learning for children and staff. Teachers and children are encouraged to pursue learnings two most important components: curiosity and exploration.

Our Vision Kensington International School provides a positive climate that builds each students self-esteem in a risk free academic environment, coupled with well-trained teachers who work to create a caring community where each student will succeed.
