Welcome to Second Grade!
Mrs. James
I started teaching fourth grade at DeBerry in 1990 for seven years and then taught first grade at at Homer Street School for seven years. I have taught first and second grade at Kensington International since 2004.
College: Holyoke Community College and Westfield State
Interests outside of school: Playing the piano, traveling to Cape Cod, gardening, cooking and shopping.
I hope I can instill a love of learning, (especially reading,) in every child and to teach kindness and peace.
Mrs. Monroe-
I started teaching at Kensington International School in 1995. I have taught Grades 1, 2, 3 and 5.

AIC-Master’s Degree- Special Education
Interests outside of school: spending time with friends and family, cooking, shopping, and dancing

Mrs. Goldsmith
I started teaching in 1998.
College: Westfield State College and Lesley College
Interests outside of school: Knitting, crochet, and hanging out with my dogs.
I hope to provide experiences for all children to grow their skills and allow for personal growth of social skills in a safe environment.

Hopes and Dreams: I hope that each student will be able to grow in all academic areas especially in reading. I wish that every student feels safe and comfortable here.
